Trainee Vehicle Trimmer
We are expanding due to up scaling our production and we need a Trainee Vehicle Trimmer.
It is our mission to build to the highest standard E-Types whilst maintaining the original looks of the factory finish.
Candidate
- Display a very high standard of attention to detail
- Ability to adopt a manufacturing inspection process
- Ability to work in a timely and efficient manner
- Good personal presentation
- Ability to communicate with colleagues effectively
- A good knowledge of classic vehicles would be an advantage
Preferable Skills
- Panel manufacture
- Template manufacture
- Cutting to templates
- Ability to use sewing machines – stitch types: single stitch, double stitch and top stitching
- Good knowledge of trim retention methods
- Good knowledge of seat padding techniques
- Ability to carry out full installation on vehicle
- Mechanical skills
- Knowledge of trim best practices
- Knowledge of Leather, Leather cloth, Carpets and Hardura

Location : Lymington, Hampshire
Hours: 40 + Some overtime
Salary: Negotiable
