Vehicle Blasting Booth

A vehicle blasting booth is essentially a purpose built enclosure with a closed loop blasting system, that allows the operator to remove paint and rust from the body and chassis of a vehicle by using an abrasive and pressurised air. The particle size of the abrasive and the air pressure can be varied to suit the requirements of the job, thus enabling us to remove paint layer by layer and also heavy rust where necessary. The importance of using a booth is to carry out this work in a controlled environment, as the final bare metal surface of the vehicle will oxidise when in contact with moisture in the air. The surface finish after blasting provides the perfect key for the application of a primer coat which must be applied immediately following the blasting process to ensure this oxidisation of the surface does not take place. 
 
The blasting process creates very little or no heat which ensures that the shape and strength of the surface being blasted is not compromised.

Paint Booth & Oven

NFCC has recently completed the installation of new state of the art paint shop facilities. Our paint booth and oven systems are situated next to the blasting booth so the flow of vehicles between one and the other is seamless. We have kept the painting process in house to enable close quality control on all aspects of the rebuilding process and reduce any damage caused by handling. It also enables us to be in total control of the overall time frame for the rebuild rather than being reliant on other outside agencies.

Our mixing room enables us to recreate any paint colour or style you should desire and our fully trained specialists are on hand to discuss and document your selected requirements.
